The Anti-Procrastinator at the 2025 Hong Kong Literary Festival
On March 1st 2025, The Anti-Procrastinator (Penguin Random House) made its debut at the Hong Kong International Literary Festival (HKILF).
The annual event gathered dozens of authors from all over the world and offered a variety of sessions, from workshops to panels, interviews and readings as well as book signings.
My session was held at Fringe Dairy and took place in the shape of an interactive workshop on productivity and anti-procrastination:
The Anti-Procrastinator: Mastering The Art of Getting Things Done.
The event had 25 participants and focused on 3 parts:
1. Underneath Procrastination: understanding the science behind it and the 6 different types of procrastination.
2. Visualization Techniques: exercises to visualize success and define what great looks like.
3. Self-awareness: Using the power of self-awareness to regulate yourself physically and emotionally and set you up for success.
The session was based on the book The Anti-Procrastinator and debunked myths about productivity. It’s not about doing more but getting to know yourself so that you can understand where resistance is coming from and discover how to lift your anchors.
The workshop was followed by a book signing and a “Meet the Author” session.
