DEI Speaker at the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong
On March 12th, I was invited to join The European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong as a DEI speaker in their event together with the EWMD Network.
The event focused on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility and gathered members of the business community to discuss the future of DEI:
Where we stand.
Where it’s going.
What we can do.
I joined a panel as a DEI speaker with Olivia Wong, General Manager, Environmental & Social Responsibility MTR, and Sari Suono-Rasehorn, Chief People & Culture Officer at ISS. It was moderated by Anita Vogel and we talked about not letting DEI be distorted and weaponized.
Some of the topics we covered:
– Importance of DEI for organizations
– Measurements of success and KPIs
– How to build cultural competence
– Impact of macro-economics and global politics on DEI.
